Bad constraints remain bad. An impossible deadline plus half a budget and nine mandatory claims qualifies only as poor management with an enthusiastic calendar. Make the boundary purposeful instead. One audience. One sentence. Three ingredients. No new technology. Existing footage only. The rule should close obvious routes while leaving room to invent a better one.
“Be innovative” means the author wants surprise while refusing to surrender any choice. Constraints mark the canvas edges, which is how anybody finally begins.
