A quotation can be copied. One objection can be written down. A rough final sentence can exist before the middle. These pieces are small enough to begin without incense, a mountain cabin or six blissful hours advertised by somebody selling a book about focus.
The trick, if there is one, lies in deciding the fragment in advance. “Think about strategy” is too shapeless for eight minutes. “List three reasons customers cancel” has an edge you can pick up.
